Rapid Prototyping

An ongoing review of the development results with the users (stakeholders) is essential. This can only be done with design- and functional models.

Advantages of rapid prototyping and usability tests:

  • Increased safety for users and patients by anticipating and managing risks

  • Reduced development costs, as problems in the human-product interface are identified early on and corrections can be implement easierly

  • Increased customer satisfaction, through increased usability

 

REVERSE ENGINEERING

If necessary, we use reverse engineering as a method. This is a valuable tool to digitize complex shapes, from which CAD data is not available. Likewise when creating complex components, one often wants to check whether they have been produced within the required tolerances.

PROTOTYPE PRODUCTION

A continuous and real review of the development results with users (stakeholders) is essential. The latest rapid technologies are used to create the first model of your product as a visual or functional object. Before reaching series maturity, the last stage of the development process is the design of prototypes. With our own prototype production at Marenco and our extensive network of manufacturing companies, we are committed to an accurate and reliable implementation of the design.
